Explore and Experience two different eco-systems: the Cloud Forest at the Monteverde Reserve in the Continental Divide and the Rainforest by the Sea at the Manuel Antonio National Park in the Mid-Pacific Coast
Day 1. Arrival to San Jose. Meet and greet service at the airport and private van transfer to the Ramada Plaza Herradura Hotel. for an overnight stay.
Day 2. San Jose / Monteverde Cloud Forest. After an early breakfast, meet your driver for a private transfer to the Cloud Forest Reserve for a two-night stay at the Montana Monteverde Hotel .In the afternoon, you will enjoy a wonderful Horseback Riding Expedition through the forest. Balance of the day is at leisure, we suggest a visit to the town of Santa Elena. B.
Day 3. Guided Nature Walk of the Reserve. Early this morning, you will partake on a guided exploration of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The reserve is located in both the west and east side of the Tilaran Mountain Range, its six (6) ecosystems house over 100 species of mammals, 1,500 species of plants and 400 species of birds including the elusive Quetzal (best sighting months are from January through July) Balance of the day is spent at leisure. B.
Day 4. Monteverde to Manuel Antonio Beach Park, the Rainforest by the Sea. Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning private transfer to the Manuel Antonio Beach Park, stop en route to view the Crocodiles at the Tarcoles River located alongside the Carara Biological Reserve. Accommodations for three nights at the Parador Hotel (Garden Rooms).Balance of the afternoon free to enjoy the pool or the beach. B
